About Rooney . . .
Rooney is a fun-loving character who shares his life with a family of three young men, two adults and a cat -- it is an active household to say the least. But that's okay because Rooney has lots of energy and plenty of love to offer! He's a sweet boy that has the softest expression ever; his eyes can and will melt anyone who looks into them. He is a litter mate to Declan, Lennon, Abby, and Rocky who have all been showing in Canada. Rooney is the 8th champion for his dam.

Here's what Val has to say about Rooney: "Rooney, oh Rooney . . . he has the it's all about me attitude until he thinks someone is upset or hurt then he is very sensitive and wants to make everyone feel good. He never runs out of kisses. In fact, that is how he wakes Tyler up in the morning. He loves playing tag. He always wants to be 'it' if he has a toy in his mouth. He loves to play hide-and-seek with his toys. We hide it under his blanket and he pounces on it and digs it out. He rings the bell at the patio door to go outside...but he's figured out that when he rings the bell someone comes so he now rings the bell when he wants to play sometimes. He runs to grab a toy as soon as someone comes! He always has to be a part of the action. He could be fast asleep, but if you leave the room he'll be right behind you. He loves to go for walks and runs. As soon as I put my running hat on, he gets so excited and won't leave my side. He absolutely love being part of anything the boys are playing."

Rooney’s show career . . .
Rooney has gone to conformation classes with Val, where she has worked very hard to train Rooney -- and Rooney is very willing to learn. He is being shown by his sire's breeder, Josie O'Reilly of Summer Boxers.
